The South Sydney Rabbitohs are incredibly proud of the deep and enduring connection our Club shares with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. This year’s Indigenous jersey honours the NAIDOC theme 50 Years of Deadly, celebrating five decades of voices that have been steady, unapologetic, and proud. Each band of artwork across the jersey represents a decade of this journey — a story of truth, culture, resistance, and identity. Grounded in community and leading change across every field, it’s about telling our own stories, in our own way, on our own terms.

The design connects our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players to Country and culture, with each of the 11 Rabbitohs Indigenous players totems proudly represented along the bottom edge of the jersey. 

This jersey is a tribute to the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who kept showing up, year after year. This is the Rabbitohs story. This is the Rabbitohs celebration. This is the Rabbitohs future.
