Collingwood’s 2025 Sir Doug Nicholls Round guernsey, created by proud First Nations artist Lisa Thorpe, is inspired by her artwork Wooroongi Biik (“Lore of the Land”). Featuring the six Boonwurrung seasons, a magpie’s view of pre-colonial Collingwood, and spear motifs symbolising Y'alla-Birr-Ang, the guernsey tells a powerful story of connection, culture, and survival.
