Western Suburbs Magpies 1978 Alternate NRL Retro Rugby League Jersey
This jersey features an embroidered Western Suburbs emblem and a sublimated Victa sponsor. The late 70s saw the Magpies enjoy a period of (kind of) glory, with players such as Tommy Raudonikis and Terry Lamb, coached by Roy Masters. Despite boasting talented players, the Magpies failed to make a grand final and add to their four premierships. In 2000, the Western Suburbs merged with the Balmain Tigers to become the Wests Tigers.
